Squaw Creek Reservoir was constructed in 1952 as a private reservoir. General regulations apply. Season is open all year around, any hour of the day or night. Limimt is 5 trout and 15 warmwater game fish of which no more than 5 may be black bass.

The Deschutes River and its tributaries historically supported a wide variety of native resident and anadromous fish. Summer steelhead, spring chinook, fall Chinook, bull trout, redband trout, Pacific lamprey and sockeye salmon are among the fish that historically spawned in the Deschutes Basin.

Pyramid Lake, Nevada. NO BAIT ALLOWED. Only artificial lures. The open waters of Pyramid Lake shall be open to fishing year round, with the exception of trout season, which shall be open from October 1 through June 30 of each year. **Cutthroat Trout fishing after July 1 and prior to September 30 is prohibited.

Season is open from the second Saturday in June through November 15. The limit is one trout per day, one in possession with a minimum size of 18 inches. Hours: any time of the day or night. Only lures with single barbless hooks may be used.

Desert Creek is a small creek (about 9 ft. wide and 3 to 4 ft. deep) with perennial water flows generally between 2.5 and 4 cfs. Desert Creek, has general fishing regulations: Season is open year around, any hour of day or night, and the limit is 5 trout, 10 mountain whitefish, and 15 warmwater game fish which not more than 5 may be black bass.

This stream is one of the largest in the Ruby Mountains and has its beginning at the outflow of Lamoille Lake. Nearly the entire length of Lamoille Creek is considered fishable from the parking area at the head of the canyon to the Forest Service boundary. Season is open year around, any hour of the day or night. General limits of 10 trout.

The Mason Valley Wildlife Management Area (MVWMA) is located in north Mason Valley in Lyon County, seven miles north of the town of Yerington.
