Public Notice Proposed Amendments to the Fishing, Boating and Camping Regulations

Camping
Camping is available around the lake but be sure to purchase a camping permit. Portable bathrooms are placed sparingly around the lake for visitors use.

ATV's and Two Wheeled off road vehicles are banned from the Reservation Boundaries.

Advice and Tips
Pyramid Lake is so massive that you would think it would be hard to ever get 'skunked' but beware there are times that it could happen to the best of them.

For fly fisherman, a step ladder can become a valuable piece of equipment along with a 8-10 ft, 7-8 weight rod to help cast through some of the windier times of the day. Additional must haves for Pyramid would also be sinking line and several colored wooly worms or wooly buggers.

For the spin caster, 8-10lb line works well along with any 7/8 oz spoon with flashy colors similiar to the ones on the left.
